1-day Pilgrimage Trip to Agios Ioannis Rossos, Holy Monastery of Osios David and Chalkida

On Sunday, 9 October 2022, a 1-day pilgrimage trip was made to the Holy Church of Saint John the Russian, the Holy Monastery of Saint David, and Chalkida. Early in the morning, the buses of our company departed from Tyros, Astros, and Tripoli and via the Tripoli - Corinth national road we arrived at the Holy Church of Saint John the Russian in Prokopi, Evia to attend the Divine Liturgy and worship the Holy Relic of the Saint. After our pilgrimage, we departed for the Holy Monastery of Saint David. This is a monastery located at the foot of the Kavalaris and Xeron mountains, in a dense forest of elms and pines. After our pilgrimage, we returned to Chalkida, where we sat down for coffee and food, and in the afternoon we departed for Tripoli.
