MONEMVASIA
MAY DAY 2023
01/05/2023 – Monday: Departure from Kolokotroni Square at 08:00 from Kolokotroni Square for the Gibraltar of Greece, the well-known to all of us MONEMVASIA. We will spend May Day in the enchanting Byzantine castle town of southeastern Peloponnese, where we will become the protagonists of a medieval fairy tale with a backdrop of stone tower houses, narrow cobblestone streets and labyrinthine alleys. There we will sit down for coffee and food and walk to the Castle (Church of Elkomenos Christ, Saint Sophia, Panagia Chrysaftissa, Giannis Ritsos' House). After our visit to Monemvasia, we will depart for Tripoli with an intermediate stop in Sparta for coffee.
