Trikala – Meteora – Elati – Pertouli

Departure 08:00 in the morning from Kolokotroni Square. Arrival in Trikala and visit to the Tsitsanis museum. Free time for lunch in the center of Trikala and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, free program in Trikala and visit to the largest and most impressive Christmas Theme Park, the Mill of the Elves, to attend the free Christmas events.

After our breakfast, we will visit the Ottoman Mosque (Koursoum Mosque) and the Fortress of Trikala. Then, we will start a beautiful route to visit the mountain village surrounded by fir trees, Elati, the fairy-tale and beautiful village Pertouli, which is the most popular mountain and tourist center of the Trikala prefecture. During the day, we will sit down for coffee and food, and late in the afternoon, we will return to Trikala. In the evening, free time and optional visit to the Mill of the Elves.

After our breakfast, we depart for Meteora, in order to visit initially the Holy Monastery of Varlaam and then the Holy Monastery of Saint Stephen. Then, we will have free time for a walk and coffee in Kalambaka, as well as an optional visit to the Mushroom Museum in Kalambaka. After our lunch in Mouzaki, we return to Tripoli with short stops in between.
