26-27 February 2022 2-day trip to Arachova, Delphi and the Parnassus Ski Centre

Departure from Megalopolis at 07:00 a.m. and from Tripoli at 08:00 a.m. and via the National Road Tripoli – Corinth – Lamia we arrive at Delphi, the Navel of the Earth, as it was also called, and where the most important oracle of the ancient Greek world was located. There we will go to the central 3* hotel Parnassos Delfi Hotel to collect our rooms. Then we will depart for the Parnassus Ski Centre where we can have access to the slopes but also to the chalet. After our visit to the ski centre, we depart for the cosmopolitan Arachova. A popular winter destination, as it is a very beautiful and traditional settlement, built amphitheatrically on the southern slopes of Parnassus. There we will sit for coffee and food and admire the beauties of the settlement.

On Sunday morning after breakfast we depart for the Temple of Apollo, the Archaeological Museum, the Ancient Theatre, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Sacred Way, the Castalian Spring and the Tholos of Athena Pronaia. After visiting this world heritage monument, we will depart for a last stroll in Arachova. Then we will start a route, where we will pass through beautiful places like Itea, Galaxidi and we will end up in Nafpaktos. This is a city in Greece that has survived 30 centuries through a turbulent history, which is reflected in its scattered monuments. Built at the foot of Pindus, it enjoys the embrace of its Castle, whose walls slope down to the Corinthian Gulf. A picturesque town with warm and hospitable neighborhoods. A historic place that welcomes its visitors in winter and summer in its mountainous areas with dense forests and traditional villages, and on its beaches with crystal clear waters. There we will stop for coffee and food and in the evening we will return to Tripoli via the Patras - Corinth National Road.
