Built at an altitude of approximately 1,100 meters, within a magnificent natural landscape with rivers and overwhelming views, the Sacred Monastery of Upper Hera is a spiritual lighthouse of the region and a place of deep faith. The history of the monastery dates back to Byzantine times, while it is dedicated to the Dormition of the Godfather and preserves remarkable sacred images and relics.
