Alonistaina is dressed up for the occasion and is waiting for us for a night that will be unforgettable! On the 17th Winter Festival, the historic village of Mainalo is filled with light, music, aromas and warmth – the ultimate winter party of Arcadia.
Departure from Kolokotroni Square Tripoli at 19:30 We go up the mountain road together and arrive at the village where the atmosphere... will take us by the hand.
This year on stage are singing:
- Giannis Kostopoulos
- Eirini Papadopoulou
- Dimitris Kapsalis
- Clarinet: Nikos Fotopoulos
- Mainalo Orchestra
Traditional sounds, fun, dance and vitality until we say "enough" – but we won't say it.
And because a winter party without treats is not possible, the square will be filled with:
- Hot bean stew from the large pot
- Tsipouro local & strong
- Hot wine to warm us up
- Sausages, cheeses, pies & local mezes
- Winter sweets – melomakarona, diples and whatever the oven bakes
- Fires for us to gather around and continue the party
Return around 01:00, with rosy cheeks, a full heart and… perhaps a slightly hoarse voice from singing.
A night that will not be forgotten. An Alonistaina… as it should be! ❄🔥
