Arrival at the Holy Monastery of Damasta, on Mount Kallidromo in the prefecture of Fthiotida.

A’ route: Anopaia path (Efialtis path) – Kallidromo forests – Thermopyles. Hours: 4.40, category: A+.

B’ route: Asopos river gorge – railway path. Hours: 2, category: A.

Visit to the site of the Battle of Thermopyles, short 20’ walk and optional bath in the hot springs.

Arrival in Karditsa around 7 p.m. Free program, overnight stay.

Departure at 7 a.m. for Mouzaki Castle – historic Monastery of Porta Panagia – Portaikos river bridge – Elati – Pertouliotika Livadia – Kerketion mountain.

B’ group: Pertouliotika Livadia – Koziaka refuge – Astrapi peak (1901 m). Panoramic view of Olympus – Pindus. Hours: 7, category: B.

Pertouli ski resort.

Return to Karditsa around 6 p.m. Mountaineering party, overnight stay.

Departure for Trikala at 9 a.m.

Guided tour of the Tsitsanis museum. Free program. Visits to the Fairy Mill, the renovated Koursoum Mosque or Osman Shah Mosque, a work by Mimar Sinan (16th century), a UNESCO-protected monument, in Varousi, Manavika and a stroll along the banks of the Lithaios river are recommended.

Departure for Lamia at 2 p.m.

Visit – guided tour of the historic Gorgopotamos bridge.
