Kea – Three-day trip of Saint Spirit

Departure from Lavrio and arrival in Kea. Transfer and check-in at our accommodation in Korissia, the central port of the island.

Visit to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Kastriani and to Ioulida, the capital of the island. Return to Korissia and free time for a swim at Gialiskari Beach with its unique crystal-clear waters!

Breakfast and free time for a morning dip in the beaches near Korissia.

In the afternoon, we visit Kato Meria. Those who wish can participate in a visit to Ancient Karthaia, which is built in a strategic location on the southeastern side of the island. Karthaia flourished from the 6th century BC to Roman times. The site impresses the visitor with the imposing ruins of temples, a theatre and fortifications, all with a view of the vast Aegean. The temple of Athena stands out, built in the Doric style, as well as the temple of Pythian Apollo. The ancient theatre, partly carved into the rock, is in excellent condition and testifies to the prosperity of the city.

Alternatively, we can visit the beaches of Koundouros and Pisses.

In the evening, we return to Korissia and at night we visit Ioulida where celebrations take place with traditional music. Return late at night to Korissia.

Breakfast at the hotel, visit to the lighthouse at the entrance of the port, to the Katsouni strait in Vourkari and to the archaeological site of Agia Irini (Park of Late Neolithic).

Late in the afternoon, departure for Lavrio and return to Tripoli.
