Thessaloniki – Saint Paisios – Souroti – Kalpaki – Ioannina

Pilgrimage Trip Thessaloniki – Metsovo – Ioannina

Departure: 11 July 2025, early in the morning from Kolokotroni Square in Tripoli.

First Day – Arrival in Thessaloniki

Departure early in the morning from Kolokotroni Square in Tripoli with destination the beautiful Thessaloniki. Arrival in the city and visit to the Tomb of Saint Paisios at the Holy Hermitage of Saint John the Theologian in Souroti. There we will have the opportunity to pay our respects and participate in a Holy Vigil in an atmosphere of reverence and piety.

After the Vigil, we will move to a hotel in the area for an overnight stay.

Second Day – Thessaloniki – Saint Demetrius – Metsovo

After breakfast, departure for the Holy Church of Saint Demetrius, the patron saint of Thessaloniki, where we will have the opportunity to pay our respects to the miraculous reliquary with the saint's relics.

Immediately after, departure for the traditional Metsovo, known for its traditional architecture and rich cultural heritage. There we will have free time for sightseeing in the picturesque alleys, visiting local shops with traditional products and lunch at a tavern in the area.

Late in the afternoon, departure with destination Ioannina. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

Third Day – Kalpaki – Molivoskepastos – Bourazani – Konitsa

After breakfast, departure for Kalpaki, where we will visit the Holy Monastery of Molivoskepastos. Then, we will head to the picturesque Bourazani and subsequently to Konitsa for a pilgrimage and guided tour of the area.

Return to Ioannina and overnight stay.

Fourth Day – Ioannina Island – Vrellis Museum

After breakfast, departure for a visit to the picturesque Ioannina Island, where we will have the opportunity to explore the historic monasteries and admire the traditional architecture. Then, we will visit the Museum of Greek History Paul Vrellis, known for its wax models that depict important moments in Greek history.

After breakfast, free time in Ioannina to walk around the castle and the shores of Lake Pamvotis. Departure for the return journey with intermediate stops for rest.

Return to Tripoli late in the afternoon, full of blessings and beautiful memories.
