🛳️ First stop: Troizina

Arrival in Glyfa Fokidas, and transfer by boat to the lush island of Troizina. There you will have free time for:

• Swimming in quiet beaches with crystal-clear waters
• Walking in the alleys of the island without cars
• Eating at taverns by the wave

🏰 Second stop: Nafplio

In the afternoon we depart for the beautiful Nafplio, where we will have free time for:

• Walking in the Venetian harbor
• Visiting the castle with panoramic views
• Coffee or ice cream on the beach

🕗 Return:

Departure for Tripoli with an intermediate stop along the way. Arrival in the evening with suitcases full of images and beautiful memories!

🏝️ Troizina – The secret island of the Corinthian

Troizina is a small, lush island that "floats" calmly in the Corinthian Gulf, opposite Glyfa Fokidas. Despite its beauty, it remains an unexplored paradise for most people. It is the only inhabited island of the Corinthian and stands out for its natural tranquility and lack of cars — here you will only hear the sound of the sea and birds.

The island is full of olive trees, pines and low vegetation, with walks ideal for those seeking contact with nature. Its beaches, such as Pounta and the harbor, are clean, quiet and with blue-green waters.

📜 A little history

The name "Troizina" is said to come from the "Trizonia", the small insects, due to their abundance in the past on the island. Others claim it is related to Troizinia, the ancient city of Peloponnese. The island had strategic importance in the Revolution of 1821. Andreas Zaimis used it as a base, and later fighters settled there with their families.

The small port of Troizina serves as a refuge for sailing boats, while in the small village you will find small taverns with fresh fish, traditional houses and a pace of life that seems to have been forgotten by time.

With a rich history, romantic atmosphere and traditional colour, it is an ideal destination for those who love the combination of nature and culture. ⚓ The Venetian Port The heart of the city is the small Venetian harbour with stone walls, lighthouses and the statue of the legendary Don Juan of Austria. From here begins a stroll that resembles a journey through time, with cafes and ouzo bars on the wave. 🏯 The Castle – View and history Above the city dominates the imposing Venetian castle, which offers a panoramic view of the Corinthian Gulf and the Rio-Antirrio bridge. It is one of the best-preserved castles in Greece and testifies to the city's many conquerors — Venetians, Ottomans, Franks. ⚔️ The Naval Battle of Nafpaktos (1571) The city made history with the Great Naval Battle between the fleet of the West (Holy Alliance) and the Ottoman Empire. It was a pivotal point in the course of European history, as it is considered the largest naval battle with oars. 🏖️ Beach & modern life Nafpaktos also offers the coolness of the sea, with the beaches of Psani and Grimbovo located within walking distance from the centre. In the evening, the city comes alive with street vendors, flavours and a view of the moon reflected in the waters of the harbour. 💡 Small information: Its old name was Lepanto (Lepanto).
