2-day trip to Arachova and Delphi

On the weekend 09-10 April 2022 we took our 2 day trip to Aragua and the Delphi. On Saturday morning we departed from Tripoli to by 07:00 pm and through the National Road Tripoli – Corinth – Lamia we arrived at DelphineIn the first place, we visited the Omphalus of the Earth, as they were called and where the most important site of the ancient Greek world was located. There we visited and guided the Archaeological Site and then visited the Museum. After our tour we headed to Arachova, where we sat for coffee and food. Parnassos Delfi Hotel receiving the rooms.

On Sunday morning, after breakfast, we headed to the Mineral Park. The Vagonetto is the medium that will travel you back in time and teach you the history of boxit mining. At the 51st km. by O. Lamias – Amfisas south of Gravias is the Fokidas Mining Park. One of the lounges opened for the underground exploitation of boxit, lounge 850, closed in 1972 due to depletion of the mineral.
