2-day trip to Arachova, Delphi and the Parnassus Ski Centre

On the weekend of 26-27 February 2022, the Travel Agency of K.T.E.L. Arcadia S.A. organised a trip to Arachova, Delphi and the Parnassus Ski Centre, which was also attended by members of the Association of Triplets of Megalopolis. On Saturday morning, we departed and via the National Road of Tripoli – Corinth – Lamia, we arrived at Delphi, the Navel of the Earth, as it was called, where the most important oracle of the ancient Greek world was located, and then we departed for the Parnassus Ski Centre, where we had access to the slopes and the chalet. After visiting the ski centre, we departed for the cosmopolitan Arachova, a popular winter destination, as it is a very beautiful and traditional settlement, built amphitheatrically on the southern slopes of Parnassus. On Sunday morning, after breakfast, we departed for the Temple of Apollo, the Archaeological Museum, the Ancient Theatre, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Sacred Way, the Castalian Spring and the Tholos of Athena Pronaia. After visiting this world heritage monument, we started a route, passing through beautiful places like Itea, Galaxidi and ending up in Nafplio. It is a city in Greece that has survived 30 centuries through a turbulent history, which is reflected in its scattered monuments. Built at the foot of Pindus, it enjoys the embrace of its Castle, whose walls descend to the Corinthian Gulf. A picturesque town with warm and welcoming neighbourhoods and residents. A historic place that welcomes its visitors in winter and summer, in its mountainous areas with dense forests and traditional villages, and on its beaches with crystal-clear waters.
