From 09 to 11 December 2022, our Office's 3-day trip to Trikala, Elati, Pertouli and Meteora took place. On Friday, we departed from Kolokotroni Square in Tripoli at 14:00 p.m., and via the National Road Tripoli – Athens – Lamia and with intermediate stops for coffee, we arrived in Trikala. Along the way, we passed through the wonderful traditional mountain villages. Through dense vegetation and lush green meadows, we arrived in TRIKALA and at the four-star (4*) hotel PANTELIDAKIS HOTEL for room delivery and check-in. Afterwards, we visited the largest and most impressive Christmas Theme Park in Greece, the Elves' Mill, to attend the free Christmas events.
On Saturday morning and after breakfast, we started a beautiful route, where we visited the mountain village surrounded by fir trees, Elati, and the fairy-tale-like and beautiful village Pertouli, which is the most popular mountain and tourist center of the Trikala Prefecture.
On Sunday morning, we departed for Meteora. A enchanting place, full of history, where monks and nuns live on its peaks in the famous monasteries. We visited the Holy Monasteries of Varlaam and Saint Stephen, and then followed the route to Kalambaka, where we sat down for a meal. In the evening, we returned to Tripoli.
