PROGRAMME OF 5-DAY TRIP TO THE ISLAND OF THE APOCALYPSE
PATMOS – LIPSOI

16/06/2022 – Thursday: Departure from Tripoli at 10:30 a.m. and via the National Road Tripoli – Corinth – Athens we arrive at the port of Piraeus to depart with the Blue Star Chios ship of Blue Star Ferries at 14:00 p.m. for the island of the Apocalypse, Patmos. At 22:20 p.m. we arrive in Patmos, where we will go to the central 3* hotel Hellinis Hotel to receive our rooms and settle in. Rest.
17/06/2022 – Friday: On Friday morning after breakfast, a coach will be waiting for us to visit the monastery of Saint John the Theologian. Built on the top of a mountain, obviously on the site of the temple of Artemis and a paleochristian basilica, the monastery is the most important monastic complex of the Aegean Sea. There we will admire the Katholicon of the Monastery, the cells as well as the very rich library and the Collection of relics. Then we will visit the Sacred Cave of the Apocalypse, which is located on the hill between Skala and the town of the island. The pilgrim can see the point where the Apocalypse was written, the place of rest of John, the huge rock that split when God dictated the Apocalypse to him, the point where the Evangelist rested his head to rest and a hollow in the rock from which he was lifted. The grandeur of the rock and the mysticism of the atmosphere inspire awe. After our pilgrimage, we will take a walk in the town of the island, and then we will depart by coach to explore the beauties and beaches of Patmos and sit down for coffee and food. Late in the afternoon we will return to the hotel.

18/06/2022 – Saturday: On Saturday morning, after breakfast and at 09:40 a.m. we will depart with the Dodekanisos Pride ship for the fairy-tale island of the Dodecanese, Lipsi. A cluster of 24 small islands in the northern Dodecanese, Lipsi, adorn the southeastern Aegean and invite you to discover them. There we will take a walk on the island, sit down for coffee and food and in the afternoon at 17:35 p.m. we will depart with the same ship to return to the island of Patmos.
Evening free.
19/06/2022 – Sunday: Sunday is a free day for everyone to take a last stroll around the island. Our rooms will be at our disposal throughout the day until late at night, from which we will depart to board the Blue Star 2 ship at 23:59 p.m. and return to Piraeus.
20/06/2022 – Monday: On Monday morning, we will arrive at the port of Piraeus, where the coach of our company will be waiting for us to return to Tripoli.

2. Coach rental on the island of Patmos.
3. Three overnight stays with breakfast at the central 3* Hellinis Hotel in Patmos and accommodation at the same hotel on Sunday until late at night, from which we will depart for the port of Patmos.
