Dubai 6-day trip with Emirates

Meeting at the airport and flight to Dubai with AEGEAN or EMIRATES. Arrival, transfer and check-in at the JW MARRIOTT MARQUIS DUBAI 5* lux hotel (www.marriott.com), which is located in a privileged position, very close to Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, next to Business Bay metro station and right next to the new extension of Dubai Water Canal. Overnight stay.

2nd DAY

Morning guided tour of cosmopolitan Dubai. Crossing the famous Sheikh Zayed Road with its 250 skyscrapers, we will admire the 804-meter-high Burj Khalifa or Burj Dubai (the tallest building in the world), as well as the Dubai Frame, the tallest "picture frame" in the world, which consists of two 150-meter-high towers connected by a glass bridge at the top. This "picture frame" is decorated with a gold motif in honor of EXPO 2020. Heading towards the Bastakia area, we arrive at the city's Folklore Museum, which we visit. Then we head to Dubai Creek, which we cross by traditional boats to get to the other side, in the Bur Dubai area, and visit the famous spice and gold markets. After a stop for lunch, we will head to the coastal area of Jumeira, where we will have the opportunity to photograph the famous Burj al Arab hotel, which resembles a sailboat. Return to the hotel and time for a stroll at the impressive Dubai Mall with its aquarium and fountains with dancing water. Overnight stay.

Morning free to enjoy the hotel facilities or for further exploration of Dubai. In the afternoon, a beautiful route will take us out of the bustling city, towards the borders with Oman, where the landscape begins to take on a brown color from the sand dunes of the desert. Gathering of all jeeps for a commemorative photo before the start of a different activity, which looks like surfing on waves. Followed by a stop at a camel farm and while the sun has already started to set and play with the colors of the sand, we are given the opportunity for wonderful photos with the desert as a backdrop. Then we will head to Bedouin tents, where we will taste Arabic delicacies and watch traditional dances. Outside the tents, we will also be able to take a camel ride and sandboarding. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Morning departure for Abu Dhabi. The first stop on our route will be the impressive museum of Louvre, which was inaugurated in 2017. We continue to the city center and see the cosmopolitan Blue Waters beach. Then we head towards the Emirates Palace (a hotel-palace with Arabic architecture) and the White Palace (the new residence of the royal family), which we will admire from the Marina of Abu Dhabi (you can optionally visit the Emirates Palace - after trying a unique cappuccino with gold leaves and admiring the central spaces, the cafe and the gardens of the palaces). Followed by a stop for lunch and a visit to the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the eighth largest in the world, dedicated to their beloved Sheikh Zayed (he was the first president of the country and is buried on its left side). A perfect combination of Arabic and Mauritanian architecture, manages to impress from afar with its size (since it can accommodate 40,000 worshipers), with its all-white marble and designs from colorful stones, with the largest carpet in the world with an area of 5,627 meters and its chandeliers made of tons of Swarovski crystals. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day for relaxation by the sea or for visits to shopping malls and the wonderful Arab hotel complex of Madinat. We suggest you visit the Wafi Mall – amazing for its traditional colour, as it is divided into sections decorated with elements from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and other Arab countries. We also recommend the Mall of the Emirates, a representative example of an American-style shopping centre, known for its ski slope – Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski centre in the Middle East. For the afternoon, we suggest a stroll in the souk of Madinat Jumeirah to enjoy the beautiful view of the hotel complex's canals, to photograph the Burj al Arab and to relax with a drink at one of the many shops or to try Sisha (flavoured apple hookah) in the amphitheatre of the complex, as well as to walk along the Dubai Marina. Overnight stay.

Transfer to the airport and boarding on the flight to Athens. Arrival on the same day.
