Lisbon, SINTRA, CASCAIS, ESTORIL, 5 days

Gathering at the airport and direct flight to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, which is built on the seven hills of the Tagus river. Arrival in the birthplace of fado with its narrow, picturesque alleys, houses with tile roofs and facades decorated with colorful tiles. Transfer, check-in at the hotel and free time for a first acquaintance with the city. Walk to the Placa Rossio, where the heart of Lisbon beats strongly, indulge in gastronomic delights and get carried away by the city's vibrant rhythms.

Today's guided tour is dedicated to the picturesque and hospitable city, which still maintains its Latin glorious character. One of the most famous attractions of the city is the Museum with the Royal Carriages, where we will admire a unique in luxury and wealth collection dating back to between the 17th and 19th century. Our next stop is the Jerónimos Monastery, the most impressive symbol of Portuguese power and wealth. Then we will visit the Monument to the Discoveries as well as the characteristic Belém Tower, which was built in 1515 near the banks of the Tagus River to protect the river's mouth and has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, from where the Portuguese seafarers set off for the ends of the earth. In the afternoon, wander through the narrow alleys of the medieval neighbourhood Alfama to the Castle of Saint George to enjoy a panoramic view of Lisbon. In the evening, we suggest you enjoy traditional Portuguese songs fado, which became known all over the world by the famous singer Amalia Rodrigues.

Breakfast at the hotel and free day. You can visit the Park of Nations which was formed in 1998 for the international EXPO exhibition and admire the largest bridge in Europe, "Vasco da Gama", 17km long. We suggest a trip to the great center of Catholicism, Fatima, the beautiful medieval village of artists, Óbidos, and the tourist fishing village of the Atlantic, Nazaré. In the afternoon, we return to Lisbon where you can enjoy your shopping at the city's large shopping centers.

After breakfast, we depart for a pleasant trip to the outskirts of Lisbon. Our first stop is Sintra, the summer residence of kings, a city that abounds in natural beauty and is characterized by its historical and cultural heritage. The Palácio Real dominates the top of a lush green mountain. Next, we will pass through Cascais, a traditional fishing village that develops next to the capital, and Estoril, the resort of all seasons, which is considered one of the most important tourist destinations worldwide and provides various activities such as a golf course, a racing track, as well as one of the largest casinos in Europe. Our last visit is to the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and full of memories we fly back to Greece. Arrival in Athens.
